Dr. Okoh earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Ahmadu Bello University College of Health Sciences in Zaria, Nigeria. She went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree from Rutgers School of Public Health in Piscataway, New Jersey, and spent some time working as a public health epidemiologist with the New York City Department of Health. She ultimately decided to go back into medical practice and completed pediatric residencies at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey, and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
Dr. Okoh is currently certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She’s affiliated with a number of hospitals in the area, including Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleview, New Jersey, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.
Dr. Okoh has a strong reputation for her skills in the management of acute and chronic illnesses in general pediatric populations and special needs children. She also has a special knack for making her patients feel comfortable, at ease, and listened to.
