Gloria Okoh is a skilled and compassionate pediatrician with over 20 years of experience. She treats children at Prospect Pediatrics, PA, in Belleville, New Jersey. She’s fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Okoh earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Ahmadu Bello University College of Health Sciences in Zaria, Nigeria. She went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Public Health in Newark, New Jersey, and spent some time working as a public health epidemiologist with the New York City Department of Health. She ultimately decided to go back into medical practice and completed pediatric residency at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, an affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University.
Dr. Okoh is currently certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and in good standing. Dr. Okoh is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She’s affiliated with a number of hospitals in the area, including Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey, and Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
Dr. Okoh has a strong reputation for her skills in the management of acute and chronic illnesses in general pediatric populations and special needs children. She also has a special knack for making her patients feel comfortable, at ease, and listened to.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Okoh loves spending time with her husband and children and teaching the little ones at her church’s Sunday school.
